About us

Our vision

A community where no woman with a skill and the will to work is left without a way to provide for her family, and where every woman who finishes KUMI LAB becomes a door for the next one.

Our mission

To give women in our community the tools, the support, and the first funds to establish small independent businesses, so they can change their financial situation with their own hands.

Meet the Founder

Stephanie D. Halfen, SDH Studio Architecture + Interior Design, a mom, entrepreneur, and leader in the Miami community. Stephanie was inspired to create this concept by Yozmot Atid, an Israeli nonprofit that has helped thousands of women turn their talents and ideas into small businesses, giving them the tools, mentorship, and support to build a path forward to financial independence.
